About This Game

In a future shaped by Delta Corp, a biotech company performs experiments on humans and animals in pursuit of a perfect being. You play as "Fox", one of its escaped experiments.

Delta Corp's prime invention is the Fusion machine, a device that can fuse objects together, including organic life and machines. In Mission Delta, players turn that technology back on the company by fusing weapons into powerful combinations.

Your mission is to take down Delta Corp from the inside, climbing from the sewers to the top of its skyscraper through the Basement, Offices, Armory, Lab, and Executive floors. The sewers are the first level, filled with failed experiments that have become monstrous and abominable.

Our Story

We started making Mission Delta because, back in 2024, we felt there weren’t enough high-quality online co-op roguelikes reminiscent of Nuclear Throne or Enter the Gungeon. While mods existed for playing Nuclear Throne online, there didn’t seem to be many games that captured that same retro charm while being designed from the ground up with online multiplayer in mind.

At the same time, we wanted Mission Delta to lean heavily into constant action and juicy gameplay. We wanted players to be able to jump into the action quickly, with very little dead air. This is where games like Roboquest and Tiny Rogues inspired us: Roboquest pushed us toward intense, section-by-section action, while Tiny Rogues helped inspire our linear room-and-door choice structure.

The majority of the game was built over more than three years by a small core team of three people, with some help along the way. We took a laid-back approach to development, as most of the team were still working other full-time or part-time jobs. That slower pace also gave us time to be patient with the design and refine details as they were discovered over time.

We’ve worked hard over a long period to bring you something fun and interesting. We hope you enjoy our work, and we hope to keep making games long into the future.
